The Xiaomi TV 5X is the direct successor to Mi TV 4X lineup with much more upgraded features. The smart TVs lineup was launched on Friday fan’s meet-and-greet event. So now let’s see features, specifications, price, and availability.
Xiaomi TV 5X Overview
Xiaomi presented the Mi TV lineup in India in early 2018. Since then, the company has been extending its TV portfolio with modern models. Just like that the company has once again announced a new smart TV Series “5X” which comes with three different inches; 43, 50, and 55 inches.
Design & Display
The Series has a similar design to its predecessor ( Mi TV 4X ) with a thin bezel all around and replacing the plastic on the frame with metal. Including a metallic stand and carbon fiber at the back of the X5 Series.
It comes with 4K resolution and support for common HDR formats including Dolby Vision, HDR10, HDR10+, and HLG. The panel has a 10-bit color depth, capable of creating over 1 billion colors. Furthermore, it covers 94% of the DCI-P3 color space.

Hardware & Audio
Inside, the TVs it comes with an unspecified quad-core processor with four Cortex A55 cores. It is paired with 2GB RAM and 16GB of storage.
Likewise, it has a stereo speaker arrangement where the 50-inch and 55-inch models support audio output of 40W, but it’s only 30W on the 43-inch model. This is also the first Mi TV to feature Dolby Atmos capability and far-field mics for improved Google Assistant functionality.

Final Thoughts
The 5X Series is an upgraded version of the ( Mi TV 4X ) which comes with 4K resolution and supports HDR formats. It features better color, brightness, contrast, and saturation, and the latest new feature ‘Reality Flow’. It a Xiaomi’s take on MEMC technology, which inserts additional frames into content to make them appear smoother.
