Xiaomi 12 Lite Overview
Yet another Xiaomi premium mid-range smartphone in Nepal. This phone was just debuted last month globally now let’s look at some specs, features, Price, and availability in Nepal:
Build & Display
The phone dimension is 73.7 x 159.3 x 7.29 mm with 73 gm weight and comes with a totally different design, unlike other Xiaomi 12 series. Although it got the rectangular camera module same as the other 12 series.
Likewise, there are various color options to choose from like Black, Lite Green, and Lite Pink.
It comes with a 6.55″ FHD+ AMOLED screen with a 120HZ refresh rate and the screen’s touch sampling rate is 240Hz. Furthermore, it also supports HDR10+ and Dolby Vision while getting a bright 950 nits when viewing HDR content.
The company also provides a 12-bit panel including Gorilla Glass 5 protection, 1920Hz PWM dimming, and TrueColor technology.

Performance
Inside it has Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 778G chipset based on a 6nm process and brings two Cortex-A78 performance cores (@2.4GHz) and six Cortex-A55 efficiency cores (@1.8GHz).
The phone drives on Android 12-based MIUI 13 which comes with a stereo speaker setup from the support of Dolby Atmos.
You can get the phone with LPDDR4X RAM and UFS 2.2 internal storage. Likewise, the base variants get 6GB RAM and 128GB storage, whereas the high-end model brings 8GB of RAM and double the storage.
Optical Features
It comes with a triple camera setup at the back, emphasizing Samsung’s 108MP HM2 sensor. Followed by an 8MP ultrawide shooter, and a 2MP macro sensor. In front, it gets a 32MP Samsung ISOCELL G82 sensor which is aligned in the center.
The phone camera section comes with Autofocus while supporting multiple modes like Selfie Portrait, Auto HDR, Eye Tracking, and Selfie zoom.
Similarly, the company also put on two LEDs at the front that you can use to take selfies under low-lit conditions.
Battery
It fuels on a 4300mAh battery supporting Xiaomi’s 67W turbo charging.
The company claims that the phone battery capacity can go from 0 to 100% in just 41 minutes. It also supports the in-house AdaptiveCharge technology That helps in the slow charging after 80% to protect the battery.
For connectivity, it comes with 5G, Wi-Fi 6, and Bluetooth 5.2.

The Xiaomi 12 Lite is priced at Rs. 50,999 and Rs 53,999 in Nepal. It comes in two variants 6/128GB, and 8/128GB which are now available in the Hukut store or any Xiaomi authorized stores.

Final Thoughts
Although the IP rating and microSD are not there it has a 120Hz AMOLED screen, 108MP main camera, and 67W fast charging. There is no change in battery capacity as well same as Xiaomi 11 Lite 5G NE.
