Samsung unveiled two midrange phones in a Samsung Galaxy A Event, and here’s a recap in case you missed it.

As we have mentioned in our previous article, Samsung was preparing for its second event of the year. It was streamed LIVE online on March 17th, 2022 at 10 a.m. ET. Meanwhile, the Galaxy A Event was all about Samsung’s midrange A-series phones. 

Meanwhile, Samsung has promised more powerful midrange phones at the Galaxy A event before. And the company has delivered on that promise. 

Samsung has unveiled Galaxy A53 and Samsung Galaxy A33 at the online event, which will go on sale later this month.

What was the expectation from the Samsung Galaxy A Event?

Still, given that the Galaxy A52 and Galaxy A72 were released on the same day last year, people were expecting upgraded versions of these two models this year.

And given that both phones were due for an update, users were looking forward to seeing their upgraded version at the Galaxy A Event.

While Samsung did announce the Galaxy A53 and Galaxy A73, the focus of the event were the Galaxy A53 5G and Galaxy A33 5G.

Meanwhile, Samsung announced the Galaxy A73 5G as an upcoming device.

About the Samsung Galaxy A Event

The Galaxy A Event went LIVE on March 17, 2022. The event started with a brief introduction. After a minute, the event’s host revealed the Galaxy A33 and Galaxy A53 5G. 

Meanwhile, the event lasted about 20 minutes, where they explained in detail the specifications and features of both devices. Finally, they wrap up the show by revealing the devices’ price, pre-order, and retail details.

The fully-featured phone from Samsung, the Galaxy A53, looks like last year’s Galaxy A52. It features a 6.5-inch screen and quad camera array. 

However, Samsung claims that the device now runs on an Exynos 1280 processor, which includes several AI-inspired features. 

According to the company, a 5,000 mAh battery provide multi-day battery life to the device. In addition, the phone is water and dust resistant to IP67 standards.

The Galaxy A33 has many identical features to the Galaxy A53, including a 5,000mAh battery, Exynos 1380 chipset, AMOLED display, and IP67 water resistance. 

Meanwhile, the Galaxy A33 has more significant upgrades than its predecessor, the Galaxy A32 5G.

Price and Availability

The Galaxy A53 will cost EUR 449 when it launches on April 1. Similarly, the Galaxy A33 will be available on April 22 for EUR 369.
