With every standard basic budget comes a similar polycarbonate build (plastic materials). The latest phone that is branded by Oppo has a modern and flat frame design with certain aesthethic in mind.
As the phone is light weighs only 189 grams and is available in three different color options Blue, Navy Blue, and the uncertain shade of black color.
Alongside that, it has a matte finish with a pill-shape flatter camera at the back and also is IPX4-certified against drips. The device can also be unlocked via a fingerprint sensor embedded in the power button.
For display, it has a 6.56-inch IPS LCD display with bezels on all four sides specifically on the chin area. With other standard features like HD+ resolution which refreshes at 60Hz and has a peak brightness of 600 nits.

Performance
The all-new Oppo phone is powered by a MediaTek Helio G35 chipset paired with 3GB RAM and 64GB storage. It does have a place for extended RAM but it will not be useful for performance due to the little bearing. Since the storage used on the smartphone is eMMC 5.1 which has low read/write speed.
Another part is that the phone provides you with extended storage of up to 1TB via a microSD card. While botting on Android 12-based ColorOS 12.1.
Camera & Battery
As for the phone for the camera, it has an 8MP rear and 5MP selfie camera with 1080p@30fps for video from both the camera back and front.
Inside fuel on a 5000mAh battery which charges via a micro USB port. And talking about audio, it has a single speaker and, thankfully, a 3.5mm jack for wired earphones.

Final Thoughts
The Oppo A17k is modern with a matte finish and a budget-friendly category smartphone. So if you are looking for a beginner-friendly and low-budget smartphone with standard features and specs then this is the one.
It is protected against the splash at certain levels with the help of IPX4-certified. unfortunately, it uses the phone’s storage as RAM which will not bear on smartphone performance.
Though it got the standard battery capacity, it misses the built-in gyroscope sensor which may not be a good thing for gamers.
