After the release of the Nokia C12, HMD Global promptly launched the Nokia C12 Pro. The C12 Pro is similar to the C12 vanilla in terms of basic specifications while also including bigger battery capacity.

Similar to Nokia C12 it has a waterdrop notch with an embedded front camera and a sizable bottom bezel. The device’s back panel has a metallic finish and a 3D pattern to enhance grip, but the frame is made of plastic. It comes in three different color options Charcoal, Dark Cyan, and Light Mint.
The display on phone is a 6.3-inch IPS LCD display with a fixed 60Hz refresh rate and HD+ resolution of 1600 x 720 pixels. Although Nokia has not specified the level of protection, the screen is reportedly scratch-resistant. The C12 Pro has an IP52 rating, making it resistant to water droplets and dust.

Performance
It is likely to be powered by the same Unisoc SC9863A1 SoC, though it is not officially confirmed. But the chipset is an entry-level one with an octa-core CPU consisting of four Cortex-A55 (1.6 GHz) and four Cortex-A55 (1.2 GHz) cores, built on a 28nm process.
The phone is available in two RAM configurations – 2/64GB and 3/64GB, with an option to expand virtual RAM by 2GB.
Which runs on Android 12 Go Edition, is optimized for low-end CPUs, and comes with lightweight versions of popular Google apps like Maps, Docs, Gmail, and Files. HMD Global has promised to provide security updates for two years for this phone.
Camera
As for optics, it features a single 8MP camera on the rear with an LED flash. The camera is capable of taking night-mode pictures. There is also a 5MP front-facing camera for selfies and video calls.
Battery & Other Features
For battery aspects, it gets a removable 4000mAh battery, which is 1000mAh larger than the standard battery of the C12 model. However, it only supports 5W micro USB charging. The phone offers connectivity options such as dual SIM support, WiFi, Bluetooth 5.2, and a 3.5mm headphone jack. It also supports 4G connectivity.

Final thoughts
Compared to the Nokia C12, the Nokia C12 Pro has a larger battery and the same basic specifications, but the overall design and features remain the same. The Nokia C12 Pro also comes with a slightly better RAM configuration and an improved camera with night mode capability.
However, both phones have similar entry-level chipsets and display resolutions. If you are looking for a budget smartphone with a larger battery and a decent camera, the Nokia C12 Pro could be a good option to consider.
