Motorola has launched its new Moto G42 smartphone in Brazil and in the coming days, it will start rolling out in selected markets in Europe, Latin America, Asia, and the Middle East. Moto G42 is presumably a cheaper version of the Moto G51 and a successor to the last year’s Moto G Power.
The phone comes with Android 12 integrated with My UX. Motorola has also added ThinkShield for protection against malware and other threats.

Build and Design
Moto G42 has a screen size of 6.4 inches and a weight of 178 g. It runs on Android 12 and has a decent resolution of 1080 x 2400 pixels with a dimension of 161.9 mm x 73.9 mm x 8.3 mm.
G42 has a microSDXC card slot and a side-mounted fingerprint scanner. At the back, Moto G42 gets a bump that houses the camera and the flash.
It supports Single SIM or Hybrid Dual SIM options, through which different network access are available.

Moto G42 is powered by an Octa-core processor and Snapdragon 680 SoC chipset.
Moto G42 has 128 GB of Built-in storage and 6 GB of RAM.

Optical Feature
The phone comes with a triple rear camera setup and has a 50-mega pixel primary sensor, an 8-mega pixel ultra-wide sensor, and a 2-mega pixel macro sensor.
For selfies and video calls, the device uses a 16-mega pixel front shooter.
Features like LED flash, HDR, and panorama, are there for easy shooting & capture.
Other Features:
The smartphone gets a Night Mode to protect the eyes, with SGS-certified low blue light emission. It delivers over a 20 percent boost in overall battery performance compared to its predecessor.

Motorola Moto G42 Price & Availability
Moto G42 has not yet been launched in Nepal, but as per the rumors, it is said that Moto G42 might get released on July 20, 2022, and the price is estimated to be NRS 59,999.
