The all-new Motorola Moto G13 is officially introduched after a weeks of anticipations and rumors. The Moto G13 is a budget-friendly smartphone that is a simplified version of the Moto G23, which was also launched at the same time.

Built & Display
The Moto G13 has a similar sleek and flat-edged design as the Moto G23. The back of the phone features a square-shaped camera module with three sensors and a batwing Motorola logo in the center. The phone is 8.19mm thick and weighs 183.4 grams, and comes in Matte Charcoal, Blue Lavender, and Rose Gold colors.
Additionally, it has an IP52 rating for water and dust resistance. The front of the phone has a 6.5-inch IPS LCD display with a punch-hole cutout in the center and an HD+ resolution that refreshes at 90Hz and supports a touch sampling rate of 576Hz.
The display also has a peak brightness of 400 nits and is protected by Panda Glass. Despite being an entry-level phone, the G13 has a stereo speaker setup and supports Dolby Atmos.

Performances & Memory
The Moto G13 is powered by a MediaTek Helio G85 chipset, which is a 12nm SoC with two Cortex-A75 cores running at 2.0 GHz and six Cortex-A55 cores running at 1.8 GHz.
It’s worth noting that the G85 is a 4G processor, meaning the G13 will only support 4G LTE connectivity, however, there are rumors that Motorola may release a 5G variant of the G13.
The device will come with 4GB of RAM and a 128GB storage option that can be expanded up to 512GB with a microSD card.
Camera & Battery
Another difference between the G13 and G23 is in the camera department. Both phones have a 50MP primary and a 2MP macro lens, but the G23 has a 5MP ultrawide sensor while the G13 has another 2MP depth sensor. The G13 has an 8MP camera for selfies while the G23 has a 16MP lens.
It also runs on Android 13. Both the G13 and G23 have a 5000mAh battery, but the charging speed on the G13 is only 10W, compared to 30W on the G23.

Compared to the Moto G23, the G13 is a scaled-down version of it. It has a lower resolution display, lower camera resolution, less RAM and storage option, lower charging speed, and only support 4G connectivity. The G23 has a 5G variant and a higher charging speed.
