The device is provided with the latest chipset that apple introduced, M2 Pro and M2 Max processor. It is a 5nm second-generation process technology that is said to support spectacular pro-level performances and bring industry-leading power efficiency.
Compared to M1 Pro, the M2 Pro comes with 20% more performance that offers a 10 or 12-core CPU. For GPU, it has been configurated up to 19 cores which is three higher than of M1 Pro chip while delivering 30% faster graphics speeds.
Apple claims that the MacBook Pro with an M2 Pro chip will process images in Adobe Photoshop up to 40% faster than the M1 Pro and up to 80% faster than the MacBook Pro with an Intel Core i9 processor.
Likewise, the M2 Max Chip offers a 12-core CPU that is 20% faster and up to 38-core GPU which provide 30% faster than the M1 Max Chip. According to apple, with the M2 Max chip, the device can go p to 6x faster than the fastest Intel-based MacBook Pro for some tasks.
The latest updates are the new silicons which bring 16GB and 32GB options for M2 Pro and 32GB, 64GB, and 96GB options for M2 Max. Although there is no change in memory bandwidth for both chips which are at 200GB/s and 400GB/s, respectively. But for expandables, you get up to 8TB of storage, with 512GB being the minimum.

Built & Display
Same as its predecessor, there is no significant change in both the build and display. It has an aluminum body that is 8.71 inches thick and weighs around 1.6kg.
For display, it offers a 14.2-inch Liquid Retina XDR screen and a resolution of 3024 x 1964 pixels. With 1000 nits typical brightness while peaking at 1600 nits for HDR content. Including 120Hz ProMotion refresh rate with standard 1-billion-color, P3 color gamut, and True Tone support.
Connectivity & Other Features
It has Wi-Fi 6E support for faster wireless connectivity, and HDMI has been upgraded to 2.1 standards, supporting up to 8K at 60Hz and 4K at 240Hz.
Plus three Thunderbolt 4 ports, one SDXC card slot, and a 3.5mm headphone jack. Webcam has 1080p for video calls and high-fidelity six-speaker sound systems for audio.
