Kick Buds S Pro Review
Comfortable to wear with responsive touch controls, they offer balanced sound quality with effective ANC and ENC features. Connectivity via Bluetooth v5.3 is seamless, though multi-device connectivity is lacking. With 3-4 hours of battery life and fast charging, they're a solid choice in the mid-range market, especially for gamers. Despite some minor drawbacks, they offer good value for their price range.

Kick, a Nepali brand, has recently launched its latest TWS earbuds, the Kick Buds S Pro, in the Nepali market. As an OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer) brand, Kick has gained popularity in the region. The new earbuds boast premium specifications and packaging, but how do they fare in real-world performance? Are the highlighted features merely gimmicks, or do they serve a practical purpose? In this review, we’ll take a closer look at the Buds S Pro to find out. Let’s dive in.
Kick Buds S Pro Review
Packaging
The packaging looks and feels fancy, with a sleeve around the box that has the Kick brand and highlights the features of the Buds S Pro. Inside, you’ll find the earbuds, a charging cable, different-sized ear tips, a membership card, and a user manual that you can download using a QR code.
Design
Today, we’re focusing on the silver variant of the earbuds. Sporting a sleek matte finish adorned with Kick branding, these earbuds boast an indicator light positioned at the front. Conveniently located at the back is a button facilitating swift connection and disconnection with other devices—a handy feature for those with multiple gadgets. However, it’s worth noting that these earbuds do not support multi-device connectivity options.
Comfort & Touch Sensitivity
I found the buds to be quite comfortable personally. Even during extended periods of use, typically 1 to 2 hours, I experienced no discomfort. The touch sensitivity was responsive and I particularly enjoyed the tactile feedback it provided. However, I understand that some may not appreciate the slight sound accompanying the tactile feedback; ultimately, it boils down to personal preference.
This feedback is helpful in confirming whether the touch sensitivity is functioning properly. In terms of touch functionality, the buds offer standard controls like play/pause, answering or rejecting calls, skipping tracks, and toggling between ANC, normal, and transparency modes, which can be activated with single or multiple touches.
Audio & Latency
Now, let’s talk about the main feature of these earbuds: the sound. When it comes to discussing the sound quality of these earbuds, they perform quite well. The bass is balanced, and the instrument separations are clear. Both high and low frequencies are decently rendered. Moreover, the ANC and ENC features included in these earbuds work exceptionally well, making the noise-cancellation capabilities of these earbuds arguably the best in this price segment. Additionally, other modes like normal and transparency modes also function effectively.
It also boosts 40-millisecond latency, which is particularly attention-grabbing for gamers compared to regular users. While we didn’t encounter any latency-related issues during our usage, we did come across reviews mentioning such issues. It’s important to note that latency exists, but it might not be noticeable for normal users. However, during intense gaming sessions, latency becomes crucial.
Connectivity & Battery
Bluetooth v5.3 connectivity ensures seamless operation, with no reported issues encountered. The buds boast an impressive range, delivering clear call quality and distortion-free audio. With a respectable battery capacity, they offer 3-4 hours of backup in typical usage scenarios, while the case provides 2-3 additional charges. Both wired and wireless fast-charging capabilities are featured. However, it’s worth noting that the buds lack any water resistance rating.
Conclusion
In conclusion, If these earbuds had multi-device connectivity, it would have been even better, especially considering their price range. However, even within this price range, these Kick Buds S Pro still stand out as a good choice. If you’re looking for new earbuds around 3000, these could also be a great option for you.
