Recently, Honor launched their latest Play series phone in China, the Honor Play 7T Series which includes the vanilla model and Play 7T Pro model. They are mid-range category smart devices with powerful embedded Dimensity 6020 processors.

Performance
Both the devices vanilla and the Play 7T smartphones come with MediaTek Dimensity 6020 chipset. This 7nm chip features six power-efficient Cortex-A55 cores clocked at 2.0GHz and two Cortex-A76 cores clocked at 2.2GHz, enabling 5G connectivity. The Mali-G57 GPU is also integrated into the SoC for handling graphics processing.
While also including the same for the storage aspect, devices get 8GB RAM with 128GB or 256GB of internal storage. The series runs on Magic UI 6.1, which is based on the latest Android 12 operating system.

Built & Display
The Pro model boasts a sleek flat frame, measuring 7.43mm in thickness, and a hole-punch display. While the vanilla comes with a teardrop notch screen and an 8.27mm curved frame.
Moreover, the camera design on the back of these two phones is different, with the Honor Play 7T featuring a rectangular camera section while the Pro model has two circular designs intersecting each other.
In terms of display, the pro variant has a larger 6.7-inch Full HD+ Low-Temperature PolySilicon LCD (LTPS) screen that offers better pixel resolution. While the standard variant gets a 6.74-inch IPS LCD screen with an HD+ resolution. However, both displays have a 90Hz refresh rate.
Camera
As for its optics features, it is provided with a dual-camera setup centered around a 50MP main sensor and a 2MP depth sensor. On the front side, the Pro version sports an 8MP selfie camera, while the standard model features a 5MP front-facing camera.
Battery & Other Features
It is equipped with a 4000mAh battery that supports 40W fast charging. In contrast, the Play 7T features a bigger 6000mAh battery that supports 22.5W fast charging. Both models support 5G, WiFi 5, Bluetooth 5.1, a 3.5mm headphone jack, and a USB Type-C port for connectivity.
Furthermore, the power buttons on the Honor Play 7T series also function as a fingerprint reader for added biometric security.
