Asus’ latest laptop ZenBook 17 Fold OLED comes with a cool design and specs. Without further interruption, let’s know more about laptops’ features, specifications, prices, and availability in Nepal.


This time the company has mostly prioritized its screen features. It has a 17.3-inch OLED screen with a 2560×1920 pixel resolution, and a 4:3 aspect ratio.

While folding the laptop you’ll get two 12.5-inch screens with a 3:2 aspect ratio and a resolution of 1920 X 1280 pixels. Likewise. it has 500 nits of brightness.

You will also get a keyboard, which can be paired with a laptop for a more normal typing experience.

Moreover, a desktop mode where you get a 19.05mm key pitch and 1.4mm key travel distance, and can use the entire canvas with a Bluetooth-connected keyboard. Claiming it to be the best laptop keyboard ever.

Additionally, an extended mode can make the device vertically and partially folded to maximize the vertical screen. Use it as a tablet, laptop, or both.

Not only the display but its design is worth memorizing, the laptop is 1.5kg with magnesium alloy chassis and a glass panel at back.

Asus claims that the hinge has been tested for over 30,000 open-and-close cycles. Which provides you with five years of folds and unfolds (that is 15 times per day).

As for the ports, you will get two Thunderbolt 4 ports and a headphone jack.


It is powered by an Alder Lake U-series processor for ultra-thin looks. Similarly, an  Intel Core i7-1250U processor with 10 (2P, 8E) cores and a Turbo Boost clock speed of 4.70GHz. 

Which is paired with 16GB of soldered LPDDR5 RAM, and 1TB of PCIe 4.0 NVMe M.2 storage. And boots on Windows 11.


As for its battery, it comes with a 75Whr battery, while claiming to give you 9 and a half hrs of screen-on time. And it charges with a 65W adapter through Thunderbolt 4 port.

Final Thoughts

The laptop has quite a unique screen feature that allows you to use it in various modes, much like a regular 2-in-1 device. And in laptop mode, you can use half of the display as an actual screen and the other half as a keyboard.

This time Asus has introduces the world’s first 17″ folding laptop which can be used as a laptop by itself or a tab as you prefer. Its design is worth memorizing and has an ultra-thin look which unsurprisingly, boots on Windows 11.
