Asus Vivobook 14 15 (2022) Overview
Built & Display
The laptop’s hinge design allows users to set the screen flat on a table and open it 180 degrees. Both the Vivobook 14 and 15 feature aluminum bodies, with the former being lighter and slimmer. Asus has also incorporated an anti-bacterial treatment, known as an Anti-bacterial Guard, on the metal surfaces of these laptops.
Asus offers the Vivobook laptop in two sizes: 14 inches and 15 inches, with the primary difference being the monitor’s size. Despite this, both laptops boast an 82% screen-to-body ratio, a 178° viewing angle, and TUV Rheinland low blue light certification.

Performance & Upgradability
Both 14 and 15 inches are powered by the latest 12th Gen Intel CPUs, including Core i3-1215U, Core i5-1235U, and Core 1255U. However, the 12th Gen P-series CPUs are not available in Nepal.
It comes with either 4GB or 8GB of DDR4 RAM, which can be upgraded later since the RAM slots are user-accessible. The maximum RAM capacity varies depending on the model and can be expanded up to 12GB or 16GB. Storage options include 128GB, 256GB, or 512GB SSDs.
Keyboard, Touchpad, & Cooling System
They also feature the ErgoSense keypad, which has dished key caps and 1.4mm key travel. The keyboard also includes a monochrome backlighting option. The touchpad on the Vivobook 15 is a standard Windows Precision one that can be paired with a fingerprint scanner. The Vivobook 14 now has a NumberPad 2.0 option, which allows users to use the trackpad as a numeric keypad, but this feature lacks a fingerprint reader.
The cooling system, features an 87-blade IceBlade fan and two heat pipes for cooling, resulting in a 30% increase in airflow and a 10% decrease in noise, according to Asus.
Battery & Other Features
Fueling the device is a 42WHr battery, and the U-series models sold in Nepal come with 45W adapters. However, the 12th Gen Intel P-series models are supplied with 65W adapters.
The port options on all models of Asus Vivobook 14/15 (2022) are identical, featuring one HDMI, two USB-A, one USB-C, and a combined audio port.
