According to a claim from the French website iPhoneSoft, Apple is considering bypassing the Apple Watch Series 9 in the same way that it skipped the iPhone 9 in 2017 to mark the iPhone’s 10th anniversary and instead released the iPhone X.
According to a source from Apple supplier Luxshare, the next watch from Apple won’t be called the Apple Watch 9; instead, it will go by the name Apple Watch X. This prediction is made in reference to the upcoming generation of Apple Watches.

Furthermore, it is also expected to have watchOS 10 as an Operating System in the next-generation watch. Including some expected features like a flatter design, new case trails, new bracelets, as well as features like a blood glucose sensor.

microLED Display
Apple is said to work on incorporating microLED displays in its future wearables as reported. The following-generation Apple Watch Ultra, anticipated for release in 2024, will be the first Apple Watch to include a microLED display.
