Last week, Xiaomi presented its latest air purifier lineup during the “Smarter Living 2023” event. The focus was on the Xiaomi Smart Air Purifier 4 series, which includes the Smart Air Purifier 4 Lite.

The latest air purifier has the same rectangular design as its predecessors. Featuring a spherical OLED touchscreen that displays important information such as PM2.5 levels, temperature, humidity, and WiFi connectivity.
The touch screen also allows users to switch between settings such as Sleep, Auto, Favourite, Low, Medium, and High.

Three-layered filtration
The Xiaomi Smart Air Purifier 4 series comes equipped with a three-layer filtration system consisting of a main filter, a real HEPA filter (with anti-bacterial and anti-viral coating), and an activated carbon filter.
Xiaomi claims that this filtration system can remove up to 99.97% of airborne particles as small as 0.3 mm, which includes pet hair, pollen, dust, smoke, dander, and cotton fiber.
Protection & Compatibility
The air purifier series has also received TÜV Rheinland Allergy Care Certification, and can also eliminate unpleasant odors such as formaldehyde, toluene, and kitchen fumes. Along with negative air ionization that emits negative ions for even cleaner air only in Purifier 4.
It can generate 6660L of purified air per minute, covering an area of 28 to 48 square meters, and has a particle CADR (Clean Air Delivery Rate) of up to 400 cubic meters per hour. Whereas, the lite version produces 6000L of clean air per minute, has a CADR of 360 cubic meters per hour, and can purify a room of 25 to 42 square meters in just 10 minutes.
In terms of compatibility, the series is compatible with Google Assistant and Alexa and can be connected to the “Mi Home” app. Xiaomi also claims that a single filter can last between six and twelve months.
