Performance
The Vivo X90 is powered by the same Dimensity 9200 processor as the Pro version. This chip is MediaTek’s latest flagship processor, fabricated using 4nm technology. It features the Cortex-X3 prime core and the ARM Immortalis GPU with hardware-based ray tracing.
The device comes with 512GB of UFS 4.0 storage and up to 12GB of LPDDR5 RAM, although the 128GB model uses UFS 3.1 storage from Vivo.
Camera
The back of the Vivo X90 features a protruding circular camera bump that holds a triple camera setup. The primary camera is a 50MP Sony IMX866 sensor, considered to be among the best in the market. The setup also includes a 12MP ultrawide angle lens and a 12MP telephoto lens with 2x optical zoom. On the front, the phone has a 32MP selfie camera in a punch-hole cutout.
To enhance image processing, Vivo has equipped the X90 with the V2 ISP. It is a specialized SRAM memory that improves efficiency and is the third-generation image chip from the company. As a result, the X80 will have improved portrait and low-light photography capabilities.
Battery
It is powered by a 4,810mAh battery that supports 120W fast charging and comes with a compatible charger in the box. This allows the phone to reach 50% charge in just 8 minutes. The phone runs on OriginOS 3, which is based on Android 13, however, the global variant uses Funtouch OS 13.
