Samsung Nepal has recently launched Samsung Galaxy J2 PRO a budget smartphone packed with 2GB of RAM at Rs. 15,900. The device has 5 inches of Super AMOLED Display with the resolution of 720*1280 pixels (294 PPI pixel density) and has a 68.1% screen to body ratio. It runs on Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow.

Although the phone is the refreshed version of the Galaxy J2(2016) and is powered by Spreadtrum SC8830 Quad Core 1.5 GHz processor with Mali 400MP2 GPU. This phone comes with 16GB of onboard memory which can be expanded up to 128GB using the dedicated microSD slot. Along with all that the phone features the 8MP of primary camera with the aperture of f/2.2 whereas the secondary camera features 5 Megapixel with the aperture of f/2.2.
The phone is housed with 2600 mAh removable battery which is expected to give 11 hours of video playback and 10 hours of internet use on a 4G network. This phone features TST (Turbo Speed Technology) which enhances the performance of the smartphone. As claim by the Company, it loads the app up to 40 per cent faster than the devices with double the RAM. Built in applications such as Contacts, Camera and gallery have been re-engineered for a lower memory usage which results in freer RAM. TST proactively shuts down the idle processes running in the background so that the RAM is free to take new tasks. This reduces the stress on RAM and helps to enhance the multi-tasking experience.
