Samsung recently revealed the mid-range devices Galaxy A13 and Galaxy A23 with Galaxy F23, Galaxy M23, and Galaxy M33. However, it looks like the company is not done with mid-range phones this year.
As a result, Samsung has hosted an “Awesome Galaxy A” Event on March 17 to unveil new Galaxy A series devices. And, given that Samsung released the Galaxy A72 and Galaxy A52 on this day last year, users were expecting updated versions of both devices this year.
Meanwhile, Samsung has released two mid-range devices: the Galaxy A53 and The Galaxy A33. Here is a probable compilation and curate of the Galaxy A53.
Summary of Samsung Galaxy A53 5G:
The Galaxy A53 5G features a 6.5-inch Full HD+ Super AMOLED Infinity-O display. It has a 120Hz refresh rate and an in-display fingerprint scanner. Similarly, the phone comes preloaded with Android 12.
Meanwhile, it is expected to be powered by an Exynos 1280 chipset while it comes paired with 6GB/8GB RAM and 128GB/256GB storage. In addition, a 5,000mAh battery will power the phone, with support for 25W rapid charging.
Let us look at the Samsung Galaxy M53 5G’s specifications, functions, availability, and prices in Nepal.
Is Galaxy A53 5G the upgraded version of A52 5G?
The leaks from different websites (Winfuture and OnLeaks) have already given an idea of what the Galaxy A53 will look likes. And it has a design that is strikingly similar to the Galaxy A52.
As a result, we can say that the Galaxy A53 is the successor to the Galaxy A52. Although the design appears to be relatively similar, there has been a performance boost in the Galaxy A53 5G phone.
Build and Design
As for design, the frame and back will continue to employ plastic. On the other hand, the rear panel is flat with a slight curve around the edges.
Meanwhile, the only design alteration is the updated island camera. It features a concave contour rather than the squared-off look of its predecessor.
Furthermore, it has a 6.5-inch Super AMOLED display with a resolution of 2400 x 1080 pixels. Even the screen refreshes at a rate of 120 frames per second.
In addition, the device weighs roughly 189 grams and has a thickness of 8.9mm.
Performance and Memory
The Samsung Galaxy A53 is powered by an Exynos 1280 chipset. Meanwhile, the chipset was previously spotted on Geekbench under the pseudonym s568825.
Meanwhile, the processor has eight cores, two of which run at 2.4GHz and the other six at up to 1.8GHz.
Furthermore, the device comes with 6GB/ 8GB of RAM and 128/256GB of storage. Similarly, users can enhance capacity by inserting an external microSD card.
Optical Features
The camera hardware on the back appears identical, despite the additional camera hump. On the rear, there is still a quad camera setup. It includes a 64MP primary camera and 12MP ultra-wide modules. In the meantime, two 5MP macro and portrait sensors complete the set.
Furthermore, the phone features a 32MP f/2.2 sensor with a punch-hole cutout for taking selfies.
Rest of the specs
The Galaxy A53 is powered by a 5,000mAh battery, while the phone was recently certified by the FCC, meaning that it can accept a 25W charger.
Unfortunately, Samsung will only include a charging cable in the box. As a result, users have to purchase the adapter separately.
On the software front, the device comes installed with Android 12 with Samsung’s One UI 4.1 on top. In addition, the phones also come with IP67 dust and water resistance certification.
