Poco X5 5G Rumors Overviews
Poco launched only the Pro model (Poco X4 Pro) last year instead of the vanilla model, which put them in an awkward situation and created a hole that couldn’t be filled. But this time, the company came with the F-series to cover the space left by last year’s void between the entry-level C and the flagship F series.

Built & Display
There is not much difference in the built segment because it has the latest smartphone looks. The design of the Poco X5 5G features a circular cutout in the center of the top of the display. It is available in three different color options Green, Blue, and Black colors.
The device has a 6.67-inch AMOLED screen with FHD resolution and a refresh rate of 120Hz and a touch sampling rate of 240Hz, which is similar to the X4 Pro 5G.
The smartphone has a rounded corner design with flat edges. The camera module, a common feature in Poco’s mid-range phones, is protected by a black cover.
Performances
Compared to the X3, the X5 5G gets Qualcomm Snapdragon 695 5G, unlike Snapdragon 732G from previous variants. Resulting in improving X5 5G on the same level as the X4 Pro 5G in terms of performance.
The Snapdragon 695 is a 6nm chip that includes an integrated 5G modem and features two high-performance Cortex-A78 cores clocked at 2.2GHz, supported by six 1.7GHz Cortex-A55 cores. Additionally, the Adreno 619 GPU on the Snapdragon 695 is a faster version of the Adreno 618 on the 732G.
Camera
In addition to the chipset, the Poco X5 5G is anticipated to share features in common with the newly released Redmi Note 12 5G.
This includes the camera system, which gets a triple-camera array with a 48MP resolution, similar to the Redmi Note. An 8MP ultra-wide camera and a 2MP auxiliary sensor will be used in addition to the 48MP primary camera’s f/1.8 aperture and 48MP sensor. A 13MP selfie camera with a punch-hole cutout will be the front-facing camera.
Battery & Other Features
According to certification websites, the Poco X5’s global variant will have a 4,900mAh battery, which is probably going to be sold as 5,000mAh with 33W rapid charging.
It will have MIUI 14, which has not yet been launched, pre-installed. Since Xiaomi released numerous phones with MIUI 13 and Android 12 last year, it is unknown if the Poco X5 would come with the most recent version of Android 13.

Final Thoughts
The Poco X5 5G is a budget-friendly smartphone with a good display and 5G connectivity. The 6.67-inch AMOLED screen with FHD resolution and fast refresh and touch sampling rates make it a good choice for those who are looking for a smartphone for media consumption.
Compared to the Poco X5 Pro, the Poco X5 is a more budget-friendly option with slightly lower specs. The X5 Pro features a more powerful chipset, larger memory options, and improved camera performance. However, the X5 still offers good value for its price, particularly for those who are looking for a 5G smartphone with a good display but don’t need the extra power and features of the X5 Pro.
So if you’re looking for a budget-friendly option with a good display and 5G connectivity, the Poco X5 is a good choice. If you’re looking for a more powerful smartphone with improved camera performance and larger memory options, the Poco X5 Pro is a better option.
