NTC was the first and the only company to introduce 4G network in Nepal. But as the competition has risen up, NCELL has also launched 4G service for Kathmandu Valley, Banepa, Dhulikhel, Nagarkot. Ncell users from Pokhara will get the service on 1st of July while users from other cities will be experiencing the 4G service very soon.
If you are wondering whether your sim supports 4G service or not, you can check it by typing Q and send it to 324. If the sim does not support the service, you can visit the nearest NCELL service centre and you can upgrade it for free. To experience the 4G service, a user must have the 4G supported smartphone. You can check if your phone supports 4G service or not and if it supports 4G connectivity then follow the given steps to configure 4G setup, simply Dial *324# and 4G service will be activated in your smartphone.
4G users can stream music for free by using Yonder App in Ncell Network for 30 days. Also, Ncell has offered 1GB of data for the users using Ncell’s 4G internet which is valid for three days.
