Major remodel on the visual outlook of the laptop with a noticeable hinge which is now placed in two distinct pedestals. Compared to last year’s Lenovo has made quite an exception with two exhaust vents behind the hinge.
The exhaust is quite visual because it has a light blue accent (the color which is most associated with the Legion brand). All over, the device chassis is all-plastic and doesn’t feel as premium as its siblings.
For display, it is available in two sizes 15.6-inch and 16-inch in Nepal with Full Definition resolution, 100% sRGB coverage, and 165Hz refresh rate.

Performance
Inside, it is provided with two variants; Intel and AMD. The Intel one is the “i” suffix, which can be configured with up to Core i7-12700H and RTX 3060 GPU.
Another variant is AMD that’s has a Ryzen 7 6800H and RTX 3050 Ti combo on the highest end. Both variants are supported by last-gen DDR4 RAM which brings you two SO-DIMM DDR4 slots that you can configure up to 32GB.
Though the device supports the latest processor, it still needs to rely on last-gen DDR4 RAM.
Battery
The 16-inch IdeaPad fuels on a 71Whr battery and the 15.6-inch one fuels on a 60Whr and 45Whr cells based on the configuration. Lenovo supports Rapid Charge technology in either IdeaPad Gaming 3.
Furthermore, for connectivity; it features 2x USB-A, 1x USB-C, one HDMI, and 1x LAN on IdeaPad Gaming 3. And for IdeaPad Gaming 3i, features Thunderbolt 4. Both of the variants are provided with Wi-Fi 6 and Bluetooth 5.
Other Features
Featuring a full-size keyboard with dedicated Function keys and a numeric keypad. You will be able to create the backlit as Lenovo offers options for single color (White / Blue) and 4-Zone RGB. Plus also supports a plastic touchpad with Windows Precision drivers.
On top of the display, you will find a 720 HP camera with a physical shutter and dual array microphone. Audio includes a stereo speaker setup with Nahimic Audio.

Final Thoughts
The Lenovo IdeaPad Gaming 3 Series is an overlook in the design, that doesn’t feel premium at all. Although it’s not good in looks it provides you with many incredible specs and features.
It comes with two variants; the latest model of Intel and AMD but needs to rely on last-gen DDR4 RAM. Lenovo provides cool features and the battery capacity varies for each of their IdeaPad Gaming 3 lineups.
