Honor has released two new flagship smartphones, the Honor Magic4 and Honor Magic4 Pro, following the launch of its first foldable gadget last month. Honor’s latest phones have a distinctive design, top-of-the-line hardware, and pretty much everything you’d expect from a flagship phone in 2022. Here’s all you need to know about the Honor Magic 4 if you’re looking for a new flagship smartphone.
Honor Magic 4 Overview
The Honor Magic4 series comes with top-of-the-line hardware, including Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 processor, 50MP primary and ultra-wide cameras, a 6.81-inch LTPO AMOLED display with a 120Hz peak refresh rate, and more. The phones have an AI-powered Magic UI 6 OS and a ‘Just Say to Me’ feature. In this article, we’ll look at the Honor Magic4, its features, specifications, price, and availability in Nepal in this article.
Build and Display:
The Honor Magic4 inherits many of the features of the Honor Magic Pro. It also flaunts 6.81-inch OLED quad-curved display with a 120Hz refresh rate. Moreover, it has the same display features as the iPhone, however, the resolution is reduced at 1,224 x 2,664 pixels. Meanwhile, the Magic 4 has the same processing capability as the Pro model. For instance, the display boasts 100 nits of brightness and supports a 100% DCT-P3 color gamut.
On the other hand, the Magic4 measures 163.6 x 74.5 x 8.8 mm and weighs 199 grams. Meanwhile, both Honor Magic 4 and Magic 4 Pro are available in the same color: Black, White, Cyan, and Gold.
Optical Features:
The main distinction between Magic4 and Magic Pro is in their camera department. The Magic 4 has two 50-megapixel cameras, one with a wide 7P lens and the other with a 122-degree field-of-view ultra-wide lens. However, the third sensor has an 8-megapixel resolution and is combined with a 50x digital zoom lens. Similarly, you will get a 12MP front-facing camera with a 100-degree field of view.
Performance and Memory:
As for the processor, both the Honor Magic4 and Magic4 Pro use a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 processor. Similarly, Honor’s GPU Turbo X technology enables it to deliver industry-first AI Super Rendering in mobile gaming. Meanwhile, it has 8/12GB LPDDR5 RAM and 128/256/512GB of internal storage.
Software and Connectivity:
The Magic4 series comes with MagicUI 6, which is based on Android 12. Similarly, the company has added some intelligent features to its version of Android. It includes a new (and gimmicky-sounding) Privacy Calling function that dynamically changes your phone’s earpiece based on how noisy your setting is, preventing others from listening in on you. In addition, the device support 5G NR, 4G, Bluetooth 5.2, Wi-Fi 6 (2.4 GHz/ 5GHz), and a USB Type-C port for connectivity.
Rest of the Specs:
The Honor Magic4 has the same 4,800mAh battery with 66W fast charging support as the Honor Magic 3. Similarly, this model is dust and water-resistant to IP54 standards.
