The updated version of Gigabyte Aorus 15 and 17 gaming laptops has been unveiled. The devices comes with more powerful CPU and RTX 40 series GPU.

Built & Display
The new models for this year have several enhancements, including the design, with a protrusion featuring the “AORUS” trademark beneath the display for vents and networking options, along with crisp lines on the lid and an RGB strip by the hinge for a gaming aesthetic called “Echoes of the Abyss.”
Gigabyte’s Aorus 15 and Aorus 17 models offer Full HD and QHD displays, respectively, with the Aorus 15 providing a 15.6-inch screen with a 16:9 aspect ratio and refresh rates of 144Hz, 240Hz, and 360Hz for Full HD, and 165Hz for QHD.
Meanwhile, the Aorus 17 has a 17.3-inch display with Full HD resolution and refresh rates of 144Hz or 300Hz, and QHD resolution with a 240Hz refresh rate. All screens have TÜV Rheinland’s low blue light certification, despite their differences.

Performances
The devices are equipped with advanced processors from Intel and Nvidia. The Aorus 15 and Aorus 17 can be configured with an Intel Core i7-13700H CPU and an RTX 4070 GPU, which has a maximum graphics power of 140W.
They also support MUX switches, allowing users to connect the discrete GPU directly to the display. Both laptops are also equipped with “WINDFORCE Infinity cooling” technology, which uses heat pipes and 12V fans with 72 blades to maintain optimal performance.
There are two DDR5 memory slots that can each hold up to 64GB of RAM, while the storage area has two Type 2280 M.2 slots for SSDs.
Battery
For battery, they are equipped with a 99Wh Lithium Polymer (Li-Po) battery and come with a 240W adapter for charging. These laptops also feature an FHD camera, and dual 2W speakers with DTS: X Ultra Audio Technology, and are connected through Bluetooth 5.2 and triple-band WiFi 6E respectively.
Other Features
They are gaming laptops with a variety of port choices. One Thunderbolt 4 (PD), one HDMI 2.1, one Mini DP 1.4, and one Ethernet port are all located on the back. On the Aorus 17, a USB 3.2 Gen1 (Type-A), an Audio combo Jack, and a second USB 3.2 Gen2 (Type-C) connector are located on the left side.
On the right side of the Aorus 17, there are also two USB 3.2 Gen2 (Type-A) connections and an SD Card Reader. On the right, the Aorus 15 includes one USB 3.2 Gen2 (Type-C) port and two USB 3.2 Gen2 (Type-A) ports.
